Short postcards sent
when spheres are in harmony
and singing as a choir
In the bunker
controllers
in crumbled shirts
and loose ties
put down their Styrofoam coffee cups
and slide rules
to punch smoky air
while watching the fragmented world
on a bank of screens before them.
Control is problematic
results surprising
stability low
and vegetation familiar
but not
